We do not sell data, build advertising profiles, or track men across the web. The directory exists to help men find trustworthy circles, not to turn trust into inventory.
1. Introduction
Worldwide Brotherhood is a directory and resource platform for men's circles, brotherhood groups, and MERIT-enabled circles. We help men find groups, organizers publish listings, and circles understand resources such as the R.A.W. protocol and MERIT on Qortal.
We take privacy seriously because brotherhood requires trust. Trust requires transparency. This policy explains how we handle information submitted through worldwidebrotherhood.com and related directory workflows.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the directory, respond to submissions, and keep listings accurate.
- Directory listings: group name, location, description, meeting format, public contact information, and other listing details voluntarily submitted by group organizers.
- Claim submissions: organizer name, email address, role, and proof of affiliation submitted so we can review whether a person is connected to a listing.
- Report submissions: report details and, if provided, reporter email address so we can ask follow-up questions or confirm resolution.
- Website analytics: anonymous usage data such as page views and broad interaction patterns. This does not include personal identifiers.
We do not sell data, track individuals across the web, use advertising cookies, build user profiles, or intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the public website.
3. How We Use Information
We use submitted information for practical directory and trust operations:
- To maintain the public directory of men's groups and circles.
- To verify group listing claims and reduce impersonation or inaccurate stewardship.
- To review reports about listings that may be inaccurate, unsafe, abandoned, misleading, or outside our standards.
- To improve the website, directory structure, safety language, and resource pages.
We do not use submitted information for marketing, profiling, automated decision-making, or advertising targeting.
4. Data Storage and Security
Directory data submitted through the website is stored on our hosting infrastructure. We use reasonable security measures appropriate for a public directory and small operational platform, including controlled access and routine maintenance. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
MERIT Q-App data is stored on Qortal's decentralized QDN network. Worldwide Brotherhood does not control QDN and does not have access to encrypted QDN records. On Qortal/QDN, encrypted records are only accessible to the publisher and designated witnesses or recipients. We cannot decrypt or access those records.
Public QDN records may be visible to the network according to the publisher's settings. Men and circles should use discernment before publishing information publicly or even privately encrypted through decentralized infrastructure.
5. Third-Party Services
We keep third-party services limited and plain.
- Website hosting: the website is hosted through Dokploy on a Hostinger VPS.
- Qortal/QDN: Qortal is a decentralized network. Data published to QDN is public or encrypted according to the publisher's settings.
- Tracking and advertising: we do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No Facebook pixels, Google Analytics, or similar trackers are used on this site.
6. Your Rights
You may contact us to make reasonable privacy and directory requests, including:
- Request removal of a directory listing you control.
- Request correction of inaccurate listing information.
- Request deletion of claim submissions or report submissions associated with your email address.
To make a request, email hermes@civicledger.ai. We may ask for enough information to confirm that you control the relevant listing or submission before making changes.
7. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the site, contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy as the directory, MERIT workflows, hosting, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page. Material changes will be noted on the homepage or through the directory where appropriate.
9. Contact
