What We Did

New Horizon Brotherhood gathered on a Saturday morning along a 2km stretch of Okanagan Lake shoreline in Kelowna, BC. The men split into small teams, collected loose waste from public access areas, sorted recyclables where possible, and left the shoreline cleaner for families, elders, and visitors.

The mission was simple: show up, work shoulder to shoulder, and leave public ground better than we found it.

Impact

  • 85 lbs of waste removed from 2km of shoreline.
  • 12 total service hours completed.
  • 4 bags of recyclables separated from general waste.
  • One repeatable cleanup route documented for future circles.

Who Participated

New Horizon Brotherhood completed the mission with 6 men involved. Two men coordinated supplies and disposal. Four men worked the shoreline route and recorded the final weight.

Witnesses

The mission was witnessed by circle steward Aaron M. and member Joseph K. They confirmed the date, location, route, number of participants, and impact metric.
